Quick Load Logistics started small in July 2013 from founder and director Etienne Wepener’s home in Cape Town – running overnight road vehicles between Cape Town and Johannesburg hubs every weekday evening, and working in mainly the Overnight Road Express (ONR) sector of the industry. This service offered a reliable, fast and comparably much more cost-effective means of delivery between these metro’s on a daily basis than Air Freight – and became a hit with many elated clients who appreciated the early arrival times and personal service when enquiring about the progress of their consignments.

With this focus on service centred around efficiency and personal service to each client, the company has kept growing: Both in terms of staff compliment, fleet size and premises. After a series of relocations to accommodate larger freight volumes in both Gauteng and Cape Town, our head office is currently situated in Stikland Industrial Bellville in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, with another in Jet Park, Johannesburg. We service both of these metropoles daily by way of a fleet of of well-maintained vehicles, as well as all other major centres and towns in South Africa via a network of tried and trusted logistic partners. Parcels and consignments are tracked and controlled via the operations office, using a tailor-made digitised system developed especially for this purpose.

At Quick Load, family matters: Several team members have been with the company since its inception, and both our General Manager/National Operations Manager and National Collections & Deliveries consultant are direct family members of Managing Director Etienne Wepener. Yes, even in the face of tremendous growth, Quick Load and its team members have been able to keep alive the original sense of camaraderie and the kind of team-centered operational policies that have made the company such a commendable force in the transport industry. 

Today, Quick Load Logistics runs a well-oiled machine: Overnight vehicles daily, country routes, airfreight services, bulk and break-bulk vehicles to all of the centres within South Africa’s borders and beyond.
